His name is Carl Russo and he's been at WGRF-FM for almost 40 years, even back when the station was WGR-FM and WRGQ. He's also worked at WYSL.
 
He's made one last announcement - his final show will be April 25th, when he retires from radio for good.

When I was working fulltime in Mississauga, I would often listen to Russo on my drive home. Now I know what he looks like.

WGRZ-TV was in studio for Carl Russo's last show on Friday. 

And shades of the late Bruce Marshall! He's also a part-time firefighter.
