NBC executives always said that season 4 of Transplant could return to the network. US fans will be able to see the "missing" season starting on May 22nd with a two hour premiere special to kick off the final year of the show. The final season of Transplant returns to NBC tonight with back to back episodes. CTV which ran the 4th season last year is repeating the series on Thursdays to simulcast with NBC. The show has had a long gap between episodes on NBC so it will be interesting to see how it makes out tonight. While not a big ratings draw for live viewers in the US, the show does well when 7 day and 30 day viewing is included.
