It's called "60 Years Ago" and will feature guitar work by Neil Young.

More here about when you can hear it and who benefits.

Does anyone remember Bachman’s tune from the 1990s “Prairie Town”? Neil Young also appeared on that song, It wasn’t too bad, about growing up in Winnipeg, playing in bands and dealing with the lovely winters!

I wonder how much airplay this will get. It would almost certainly seem to qualify as CanCon.

Here's the song, a nostalgia tinged tune with references to the Guess Who, famous Canadian singers and songs from the past.

Sure do, wasn't a bad tune either.

He and Neil actually recorded two versions of that song - one slower and more acoustic and the rockier take. Both were quite decent.

I’ve only heard the rockier one, very Canadiana! Thanks for the info, I’ll source the “mellow” version!
