Frank Ferragine, aka Frankie Flowers, who's known as Canada's most popular and trusted gardening expert and weatherman is appearing in a couple of ads for TD Bank and their Wealth Financial Planning division.

In the past Frank has partnered with Canadian Tire, various health movements, Lowe's and Hello Fresh but these financial services ads feel like a step up.

The spots are as charming as Frank mainly due to his relaxed and affable personality and humour. The copy is well-written and minimal, the information easy to remember.

If only the Spence company had the advertising team that pulled these two ads together, and different voice actors!

???:

If you're on-air talent do you have to run these offers to appear in ads by your employer.

Does it get tricky when it's a major financial institution with regards to other ads for banks on Breakfast Television.

Have I seen it?
Oh, yes, I've seen it.
Did you understand it?
I don't understand how god awful the writing is, if that's what you mean?
(The worst Spence ads ever).

"The long and the short of it..." indeed.
