It's beginning to sound a lot like Christmas on CHFI, the traditional Xmas music station in Toronto. As was mentioned in a previous thread, 98.1 made the flip official on Monday.

All I want for Christmas is some earplugs, which I won't take out until late December.

Interesting that Corus' PlutoTV is listed as an official sponsor on a Rogers radio station.

Agggghhhhhh...make it stop!

Also - Corus does not own Pluto TV though they seem to have some kind of partnership agreement.

From Wiki:
"On December 1, 2022, Pluto TV launched in Canada in partnership with Corus Entertainment, which is handling marketing and Canadian advertising sales. Corus also contributed channels to the service that are drawn from its networks and libraries."

The sponsorship is still odd but the Corus name is nowhere near as forward facing as Bell/Rogers so few people will put it together.

Sorry I wasn't clear. What I meant was that Corus owns the rights to it in Canada. Their stations are the almost the only place I ever hear promos for the service. And since you mentioned Rogers, who love to blow their own horn (see: Taylor Swift in Toronto), you have to wonder why CityTV+ isn't in there, instead. But I guess they wouldn't make much advertising money pumping their own streaming service.
