The TV alumni on this site have often commented here on how CFTO and CTV ain't what they used to be.
   Two more oddities to comment on from Monday:

1. The 5:30 national cast included an item on Christine Sinclair playing her last competitive soccer match. The game was on the West Coast (Portland, Oregon) but the item was voiced by Paul Hollingsworth in Halifax. Was no reporter available in BC -- holiday or not?

2. And speaking of holidays, the 6 pm Toronto cast ran the usual stories on November 11 ceremonies in various places. But the scripts kept repeating the purpose of the events. I guess there's no one left there to clean up the repetition.
