At the request of Corus, which held the right to the Oprah Winfrey Network (aka OWN) in Canada, the CRTC has revoked the licence for the channel. The network was one of those lost when Rogers made its deal with Warner Bros. Discovery, pulling the rug out from its former owner. 

If you're a fan of the channel, you may still be able to get it - it's scheduled to be part of Citytv+'s streaming service when it launches in 2025. But it will no longer be on cable and was officially shut down on Sept. 1st.

I guess that means none of us get a car!
