It was only as a guest panelist, but former Global anchor Alan Carter came on the second Roundtable on CFRB Thursday morning. I always liked the guy, who used to do a show on AM640 for a time, and he has a lot of experience. I hope this is the first of many appearances.

Happened to hear that. I don't usually listen to Moore much anymore, but Brady on 640 was babbling on about something of zero interest, so I went over to 1010. Great to hear Alan Carter! I always enjoyed him on 640, and hope he finds a spot on 1010. Any time between 2 and 6 would be an improvement over what they have now.

I predicted Carter landing at 1010 when the Global termination was announced. Hopefully for him, this was an audition appearance.

I also heard Alan Carter on the Moore show and glad I did! I hope he does get his own a spot on 1010. I would much prefer to listen to Alan than a lot of other folks that are on. I'm sure he would be great!

When does Alan Carter start on CityNews? I checked the website and TV and could not find him.

Agree with Walter... please get someone else to fill the 2-6pm slot.
I can't listen to it these days.
Unfortunately the same over at 640 at that time.
Can't stand the snickering ultra low rent Rush Limbaugh.

Tammy Sutherland on BT will be going on mat leave soon. Would they move Alan Carter to BT to do the news? And is that why they hired him?
