The Southern Ontario/WNY Radio-TV Forum / CHUM-FM Names Marilyn Denis' Permanent New Co-Host

His name is David Corey and he's worked for Bell Media before, but has been off air in management roles for several years. He's been working mostly in Boston and Detroit since he left Canada, but claims he's overjoyed to be back and looking forward to working with a broadcasting legend.

His new position comes with some familiarity - Corey was CHUM-FM P.D. from 2006-2017.

He starts on Monday.

When Corey was PD of CHUM FM about ten years ago the moderator of the Detroit Radio and TV Buzzboard called CHUM FM one of the best sounding radio stations of any format in North America. This was why he was so impressed that Cumulus hired him for director of programming in Detroit, March 2021. Interesting to see what he sounds like on air with Marilyn.
