CW Network Yanked From Detroit Airwaves

The CW Network which only recently started a new affiliation agreement with WADL is no more. WADL has yanked all CW programming over a payment dispute with Nexstar.

And now, the owner of WADL has sent a cease-and-desist letter to both Scripps and CW regarding their new agreement.

The owner also made a slip up because he thought he was talking to his lawyer, not a reporter…

“ The comments were made early in the phone call, when Adell mistakenly believed he was speaking with his attorney, who shares the same first name as this reporter. The Desk is choosing to withhold from publication specific details about the pending deal between Adell and Mission, which were inadvertently disclosed by Adell on the call.”

Looks like the owner of WADL and radio station WFDF has decided to throw in the towel on both properties.
