"Radio Historian" Site Contains Some Astounding Pics

The site, which primarily focuses on the west coast, also highlights the development of radio at stations like WLW and WWJ, right from the day they signed on.

There's also some of the earliest audio ever recorded from on air broadcasts, including some from 1924. If you're into radio history, there's lots to read and see here, like this pic of the equipment used to keep a station called WJZ in New York on the air.

It's better known today by another set of call letters - WABC.
