They are applying to move to their aux. site temporarily with 400W day and night as the current site will no longer be available to them.

Personally, I would move CINA to 820 and be done with it

Here's the letter owner Neeti Ray wrote to the CRTC expressing the urgency of the move. The reduction of power, especially at night, is a killer.

Dear CRTC,

Please do grant Mr. Neeti Ray's request.  They've got to move.

Yours truly,
Gino Vanelli

CINA in April: "Hey, this is urgent. We're weeks away from losing our site"

CRTC: Opens application for comments in July.

Can you imagine having to run a portable diesel generator for weeks or months to keep your station on the air? I'd be very curious to know what that "misunderstanding" he refers to in the letter between the property owner and the station might have been. Sounds like a lulu of a miscommunication.

The original transmitter site is at 4570 Tomken Road.  I'm at a loss to understand how there can be an "unfortunate misunderstanding" about a location which has been slated for redevelopment for at least six years. How could this be a suprise?
As Casey Stengel would have said: "You can look it up".... here:

What a joke.... CINA should've moved their gear and begged for forgiveness later, if the commission even noticed.... once an engineer signs off on it I don't see what the problem is
