YouTube, PlutoTV and Tubi get all the ink. But there's another free streaming service that has some pretty amazing shows and if you don't mind a few ads, you can watch it for free. It's called "Shout TV" and it has everything from some pretty unusual movies to documentaries and of course, my personal fave, vintage TV shows.

You do have to sign up, but if you pick the free option, there's no charge.

Among the shows you can watch gratis: four seasons of Monty Python's Flying Circus, starting with the very first one with the provocative title "Wither Canada?" It also has several Python specials, including one where the members reminisce about their time with the troupe.

There are also a plethora of live channels you can join progress.

I haven't watched it in a while, but they also had seasons of Dick Cavett.

Interesting that they have the original B&W Dragnet that ran from 1951-59. It spent most of its run ranked #2 behind I Love Lucy.
