Bell Media plans to make a strategic and significant investment into Blink49 Studios. Also the company said in their recent upfronts that company owned streamer Crave now has over 4 million subscribers. Impressive to read that Crave has over 4 million subscribers as they have serious US competition. I have enjoyed it for a few years now and I appreciate that they invest in Canadian programming, their comedies aren’t too bad, eh!

Sort of casts some doubt that Bell is getting out of the media business. A heavy investment in film/TV production with more projects this year than last, also they are expanding Crave with more titles and improved navigation this fall. Seems like it is the broadcast side, especially radio that they are not spending money on.
