How's this for a prize: win an afternoon with CFRB 1010 hosts John Moore and Deb Hutton, going to see the "Lion King."

The winner gets a tour of the Bell Media radio studios and then joins the hosts for a performance of the play at the Princess of Wales Theatre.

(The loser gets to spend two days with them! )

The contest seems to have been rushed onto the air without much notice - the performance is scheduled for this coming Saturday, meaning they're really not getting the promotional push out of this that you might think.

After a WNY AM station owner was arguing with a few of the forum's members over which demographic group spent the most, I merely questioned his claims he had made a few years back on a rather disingenuous advertisement he shilled for. Moderator banned me for it being a 'personal attack'.

Gee, I've always wanted to meet John Moore and Deb Hutton!
I've got so much to say to them.
Can hardly wait to sit with them in a crowded theatre for three hours watching a stage show and not talking.
To a pair who make their living from talking.

I met John Moore and most of the other RB gang several years ago when Bell did their free food and beer [the first one at least] smoozefest at the Ex. While John leans left of centre politically [nothing wrong with that as we all have different opinions] I found him to be a pretty swell guy. If I won, I would prefer to do the station tour, skip the Lion King and go for some adult beverages at a local pub.
