Cross Country Check Up will have a special show following the federal election debate on Thursday evening. Ian Hanomansing will host on CBC Radio starting at 10:30pm.

I wonder how many Quebecers will watch the French debate with the Montreal Canadiens playing their final game and still not having clinched a playoff spot.

The hockey game will absolutely impact viewership for the debate. Although all of the highlights or any turning points in the debate will be all over the news anyway. Both Poilivre and Carney were on Radio Canada's big live talk show on Sunday (Everyone is Talking About It) that has over one million viewers each week.
