Farah Nasser posted on Instagram that she was approached by CBC to provide commentary on Instagram for this election cycle. I think she is a very competent journalist. I hope this leads to something permanent.

Edit:Her first segment was on tonight's CBC The National and was about misinformation and manipulation in social media.

She was on CBC Toronto 6pm newscast for a preview regarding a feature story on The National.

Good for Farah, I have always appreciated her work. Not sure what happened at Global but I found it strange; Farah was promoted from the local Toronto newscast to be the #1 fill in host for Global National and then shortly after that, she disappeared. A few months later she posted on her social media that she and Corus had parted ways.

CBC would be foolish to not find a place for her.

I saw the story on the National. It was an excellent report. A good balanced piece of journalism.
