A station in Nome, Alaska came up with a radio-related April 1st joke. It's a clever idea, although they really didn't execute it all that well.

Are they sure it's not Hegseth sending coded messages to the troops over an unsecure frequency?  Wouldn't put anything past that crew of idiots. 🤨

The night signal covers two thirds of the state. The sled dogs in their logo are pretty cool.

And then there are the radio April Fool jokes that backfire - big time. Like this one did in 2005 over KBDS in Bakersfield, California.

And then there's this classic, perpetrated by CHUM on its April 1, 1963 chart, supposedly switching DJs with Montreal.

Monty Python had a sketch where a group of actors performed Julius Caeaser using Aldis lamps... those light flashers used by the navy for ship to ship communication.
