Both Disney and DirectTV knew when the contract would end. I wonder when serious renewal negotiations actually began. Probably not soon enough. Cue the finger pointing and when an agreement is finally signed, the customer pays more for the same product. So thankful we don't have this problem in Canada. Can you imagine what would happen if Coronation Street disappeared?

The dispute between Disney and Direct TV is now resolved.  Just in time for the Emmy broadcast tonight.  Interesting some of the comments after the article from Deadline..https://deadline.com/2024/09/disney-directv-carriage-dispute-settlement-1236079251/
