Not at all familiar with Jack Miller. I only once ever heard CJBQ down here in London. One night about 15 years ago CKLW was shut down for maintenance. CJBQ had a solid signal down here that night.


After all is said and done, more is usually said than done.

In the dark days before the interwebs and before the company ponied up the dough for cable in the newsroom it was Miller’s play-by-play that kept us in the loop with the World Juniors.  
I was thinking just the other day (a rarity) about the Canada USSR 1972 Summit Series.  Foster was coaxed out of retirement for the tv side but who did the radio for the CBC?  I know it was on radio as we had recess during the intermission of Game 8 and some smart classmate had brought a transistor so we could listen out in the playground before coming back in to watch periods 2 and 3 on the tv in our classroom.
