Station was supposed to go to a syndicated show at 11 and instead started playing classic rock.
I heard from a source a while back this was one of many stations stingray has been trying to sell.

No local news at noon, but a canned Canadian Press newscast began running at 12:03 pm.
In the meantime, here are the details that are known as of now from one of Kamloops' online news outlets.

One news source is claiming CHNL is Kamloops’ only radio newsroom. Kamloops in fact has a local CBC Radio One outlet with its own morning show, though I believe all updates outside of the morning show come from Vancouver (with Kamloops stories as needed).

Two more stories on this. Ironically, both are from news sources, which this station no longer really has.
