It's not often you hear a send-off for a behind-the-scenes person at a radio station, but on Friday afternoon, CFRB presented a fairly long tribute to producer Donnie Coulter, who is leaving the station - although they never quite revealed where he's going.

A who's who of personalities gave on air tributes in the last 15 minutes of the afternoon drive show, including comments from John Moore, John Tory, Deb Hutton, Jim Richards, Jerry Agar, Mark Twohey, and even a bizarre musical salute from science specialist Dan Riskin.

A pretty nice tribute for someone who isn't an on-air personality.

I too caught this aural send-off for Donnie Coulter and thought it was commendable. He was obviously well liked and respected by his colleagues, and as RadioActive pointed out, a pretty nice tribute for someone who wasn’t on-air, although he did chime in from time to time!
I believe Donnie worked at 1010 for 14 years, I wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

I can confirm from my personal experience that Donnie is a great guy and amazing producer.   He will do well whereever his adventure takes him.

Definitely a big loss for 'RB.
