TSN will show games from Toronto's professional women's basketball league, while CTV will air selected Tempo games during the season.
It starts with the tip off of the 2026 season on Friday when the Tempo host the Washington Mystics. The free TV game dates will be announced later in the season.
The first match starts on TSN in just three days, with the Tempo opening their inaugural season at home against the Washington Mystics. Here's the schedule.

Similar to the OTA US networks, CTV and CBC are showing more live sports events. This could be another problem for Corus and Global. Global hasn't really been much into sports for a long time. They did have some NHL coverage and the CFL around 1987 and 88. Also had NFL for years prior to Bell acquiring all the rights. Almost all of Global's golf coverage is also long gone.

Ironic in a way that none of them have any sports reporters or anchors on their local news any more, given how vital live sports has become to a lot of these networks.

Didn't Global air OHL games on Saturday afternoons back in the day, or am I misremembering?

I believe that you are correct.

Good to hear! I’m looking forward to watching the Toronto Tempo and am thrilled that TSN/CTV will be the broadcasters as I noticed when I was watching the Raptors this past season, where TSN and Sportsnet both covered games, that I preferred TSN’s coverage. They are a bit more relaxed plus they’re usually a mixed panel, with both males and females, where Sportsnet thinks only males watch the Raptors and cast their “talent” accordingly.
Thanks for the Tempo’s schedule RA.

I thought maybe TSN Radio might cover the Tempo's historic first game ever on 1050, but there was no audio coverage that I could find. I don't think any of their games are on the radio here.

I did some digging and it appears you’re right RadioActive, there doesn’t seem to be any radio coverage of the Tempo currently scheduled, which is odd as you’d think they would be all over it, new Toronto pro team and all!

Only a handful of WNBA teams have radio broadcasts..... I'd be very surprised if they added one here
