Baseball Will Be On The Radio In S. Ont. - Just Not Where You Thought
CKTB will be doing the games of a team I can honestly say I've never heard of - the Welland Jackfish of the Intercounty Baseball League. The voice in the booth may be familiar to many here. It's Elliott Price - who once voiced the Expos games in Montreal before the team moved to Washington and did the morning show on the Fan 590 from 2017-2019.

A couple of years ago, Dan Schulman's son was calling the Barrie Baycats games, also part of the IBL. I think he's moved on since then, can't say I tune in much.

Down here in south west Onario, a lot of fans listen to the Tigers games from Detroit.
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

C'mon, man! It's the JACKFISH! It's WELLAND! The Rose City. The World Famous canal used to run through the middle of it. Home of the former Nero's Billiard Emporium, former Ideal Fish & Chips, just a few steps from the
legendary Welland Tribune on Main Street East, and the former Welland High hangout, the Astor Cafe, where
a lucky few used to catch Dick Clark's American Bandstand, in black and white in the back room.
