Almost everyone here remembers Rick Campanelli, the behind-the-scenes guy who got his start as "Rick The Temp" on MuchMusic. He used that exposure to get more gigs, both on radio and TV and became famous, capitalizing on every opportunity.  

So is this latest revelation really as shocking as he says or is it just a gimmick to sell his new book? We'll have to wait until it comes out, but Campanelli is promising his new memoir, "Tempted," will reveal the truth behind the secret demons he battled that nearly destroyed his life," according to a release."

Unless word leaks out early, we may not know exactly what these demons were until the tome is released on Sept. 1st, more than half a year from now.
