A few years ago, the CBC Radio show "Under The Influence" devoted a segment to something called "Living Death," a soft drink company with attitude, whose marketing ideas sometimes went to extremes.
Now they're at it again, attracting attention by offering an urn for your late relatives with a Bluetooth speaker inside it. The idea? Let your dearly departed keep listening to the music they loved by blasting it through a speaker on the top of the container. They've even done a video promoting the thing.
They've also partnered with Spotify to turn out a "for the dead" playlist you can use if you don't know your deceased's faves. And yes, they really are selling these. Just not many of them. Only 150 will be made of the gimmick-laden project. But the price itself might kill you - $495 per urn.

This is almost a Mad magazine spoof! Not too sure if it’s in bad taste but it did make me chuckle. I’m just waiting for the Bluetooth bidet to come out…..!
