He loved Lucy - until he didn't. 

Now Lucie Arnaz, the daughter of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, is developing a potential three season-long series about her famous TV pioneer parents. It's a story of love, incredible success, the invention of the sitcom, betrayal and even addiction, all mixed in with Hollywood showbiz. So far it's only in the development stage, but it definitely sounds like something that might attract eyeballs.

“If you’re really willing to look at the whole thing, there’s quite a story there, and a lot to be learned,” Arnaz said. “It’s very emotional, and it’s not what people think. It’s not just all about ‘I Love Lucy.'”

Would it be on network TV or streaming, the latter a medium her parents could never have conceived of? We'll have to see if anyone greenlights this project - and where it will end up. But I would definitely give it a look.
