That article about DX-ing posted earlier included a link to a site that's too much fun not to single out here. It's a place where you can tune a radio over the web in various cities across the world.
It tells you which stations you're on and can allow you to hear distant stations if they happen to be coming in. You can find the list of places worldwide that it covers, but there's only one from Canada. The "radio" interface (FM only) is located in Montreal and it's fun to tune the dial as if you're in that city and see what listeners there take for granted.
You can find it here. But beware. For those into this stuff, it's an incredible time waster!

A better site for AM, FM, translators and HD signals is worldradiomap.com. The site even lists the transmitter location for each station.
