The 640 one isn't working. Even after decades, upon hearing these stories the moms sound very disappointed in their kids for trashing their cars (in most cases) and not coming clean about what they'd done (at the time). One mom this morning couldn't speak. You could hear her thinking, "I thought you were a good kid... you wrecked my car and didn't tell me?"
Very cringey.

Talk radio stations succeed when its hosts connect with their listeners.
There are obviously privacy concerns when it comes to someone's health or that of their family members. But I think AM640 and Alex are falling short in their responsibility to their listeners - who care about Alex - when they aren't given anything more than "Alex is away" ... for a month. They deserve more.
Especially when she's tweeting about things like the Kentucky Derby.
The mind races... is she sick? Is a family member sick? Did she say something and she's been suspended?
It's just so unnecessary to leave the people who care about her in the dark with such a vague statement when she's still active on social media.
