The key was to simply have a double cassette player.
Just stick a tape in, press record. Whatever you got, you got.
Then convert what you  want into another cassette for a master copy.
Save the first tape for re record and start over...

They could easily shut down Vibe, move Edge to 98.9 and put sports on 103.3. 
 

Canal M Is not a channel available in Toronto, Ontario but a place like Montreal might have it.

BTW if you're looking for Coffee time, the parent company (Chairman's brand Corp.) chose to shut most locations down and replace them with Eggsmart, so they're not really competition (to TH and Dunkin') these days.

There's no doubt they'll probably switch over to either Flavour network or their Home TV for that hour to infomercialize other channels they own and remind people that if they like the show they're watching they can see more if they order those channels...

I found that odd also. I thought CHUM FM as of current times has been trying to swing more into a dance direction rather than a rock direction.

I'd be scared to take so much time off. It's an opportunity for a PD to look at numbers (ratings) and perhaps decide that the person filling in is actually doing a better job...
