Fee for carriage? It happens in the U.S. alot, where broadcasters ask providers for more money to carry their channel(s) and if they don't pay more, they have to drop the channels when the contract ends. I've never heard it happening in Canada before. Just a guess.

I agree. Radio 1 has an incredible playlist and the personalities are great to listen to as well; so much so that I prefer Radio 1 over any N. American CHR/Top 40 Radio--and I've listened to Z103 (Hot 103.5) for more than 25 years...not anymore.

Two of my TV'S know there's something there on 49-1, 49-2 but say "no signal" or just show a black screen because the sets are 4K compatible but don't have the 3.0 tuner to receive it; if I channel up the 1.0 version of WNYO appears. So the first 49-1 is in ATSC 3.0, and the second 49-1 is viewable.
