A CD player is useful for favorite travelling music in CD format collected in the 80s + 90s, although not everyone is into content like Paul. Their loss.

I had your post in mind while at the CIAS yesterday. GM vehicles have all evidently dropped CD players while some Fords still have them. For example 2019 Transit Connect station wagon, has a single disc CD player as std equipment. Ford more years.

Why would anyone pay $4 for the Red Star when for similar money or less, one's brain can be stimulated by the likes of Tim Kiladze, Doug Sanders, Margaret Wente & Konrad Yakabuski in the Globe and/or Scott Stinson, Christie Blatchford, Rex Murphy, Robert Fulford, Colby Cosh and (last but certainly not least) Conrad Black in the National Post?

When Conrad Black acquired Financial Post and re-launched it as National Post, print executives stated the GTA could not support 4 papers (+ neighborhood freebies) and that some would fail. Buzz over at High Street yesterday was you should get your Star at McDonalds rather than via annual subscription

Similar topic, different company: Corus Entertainment has held just above $7 for some time now. If it drops through what I believe Good Ol' Lou Skeezix would term that "support" level, where might it land next?

In his regular column in today's Tor Star Wheels, Jim Kenzie says the age of vehicles on the road has never been older, and goes on to state that any new car bought today will be better than the one it replaces. Who in their right mind would replace an older vehicle that runs fine, with one not equipped with essential equipment like a cassette deck and CD player? Priorities, baby.
