Interesting what you find at Value Village...

Picked this LP up today at the the VV Boutique...  I guess it celebrated when CFTR changed formats.  Awesome pic on the cover too!

This was part 1 of the change, the next part was still down the line.. The format actually remained the same according to the liner notes. The call letters changed on June 21, 1971.

Does anyone know what day CFTR made the actual flip to Top 40? I know they were "playing the hits" by May/June 1972.
