680 News Weekend Newsreader Loses His CBC Gig

Some here may be familiar with the voice of Jack Roe, one of the anchors on 680 News during the weekend. Turns out, that may be his only gig now that he and the CBC have parted ways.  

"At age 64, Roe says he still has much to offer beyond his continuing 680 News gig..."

It seems to me that something is going to happen with Ontario Morning once the new London morning show starts next month. They have already starting moving things around.

Andy, I'm hoping that they'll pack off Ms Chen (voice and style grating like a knife trying to cut through an empty beer can) somewhere within the CBC where harm to the listening public can be optimally minimized.

People like Mr Roe aren't the reason the show flounders and gets ignored by so many.

It hasn't been any good since Joe Côté hosted.
