Dave Farough Fired as GM of Corus Toronto

Changes continue to shake up Corus Radio..

Dave Farough was today relieved of his duties as GM of the Corus Toronto radio cluster.  Dave was a highly regarded music director and programming guy at 100.3 the Q Victoria before heading East in the late 1990′s.

Corus Entertainment Appoints Chris Sisam as General Manager, Corus Radio Toronto and Hamilton

(Toronto, Canada) Corus Entertainment is pleased to announce that Chris Sisam, currently Regional General Manager, Corus Radio Western Ontario, has been appointed as General Manager for Corus Radio Toronto and Hamilton, effective today.

Chris will provide leadership and direction to Corus’ three stations in Toronto – Q107, 102.1 the Edge and Talk Radio AM640 – as well as continue his oversight of the Hamilton stations which include 95.3 Fresh Radio, Y108 and AM900 CHML.  Chris brings over 25 years of results-driven sales and management experience to the markets under his purview.

Most recently, Chris was Regional General Manager, Corus Radio Western Ontario, where he led the Hamilton, London, Kitchener and Guelph markets.  Prior to that, he was General Manager at Corus Radio Toronto and Vice President, Corus Radio Sales. Chris has also contributed to a number of industry associations. He is a member of the Radio Executive Committee at Numeris and has served on the Board of the National Advertising Benevolent Society (NABS) and Canadian Broadcast Sales (CBS).
