New Country FM station for Muskoka

The CRTC approved Bayshore Broadcastings application for a new FM station in Bracebridge [Gravenhurst]. It will operate at 102.3 at 22kWs of power with a country music format. The tourist/information station at 102.3 will need to find a new frequency.

Re: New Country FM station for Muskoka

Bayshore's wonderful Country Hall of Fame program (originates from 93.7 Owen Sound) runs just two (2) hours per week but will be received with enthusiastic glee by burghers up here who regularly reminisce about vintage country out of Richmond Hill 30 years ago.    Thank you, Andy (whoever you are) for the tip

Re: New Country FM station for Muskoka

I don't know about Orillia but they had to put up a new tower for the Dufferin station. I am sure that must slow the process. They also must build a new tower for this Muskoka station. It will be located about 4 kms north of Bracebridge.
