No Broadscast -- No Score

I was listening to C.J.B.K in London on Friday  morning...
C.J.B.K. is the station that lost local broadcast rights to the London Knights hockey team to competitor AM980...
The Knights, defending Memorial Cup champions,  played an exhibition game on Thursday evening...
C.J.B.K. did not mention the result of the Knights previous evenings loss...
Certainly a very poor decision by someone either in the newsroom or upstairs...I"m betting it was upstairs...
C.J.B.K. has suffered substantial losses in the last two ratings books...

I wonder why....

What a pity they're so petty...

Re: No Broadscast -- No Score

Two words: Steve Garrison.  They had their best numbers in ages and then let him go.  To make matters worse the younger, lower-rated new host left to follow the Knights.  Time for Bell to:
A) Make the phone call and pay up to get Steve Garrison back.
Or
B) Fire some people in London to compensate for the commercial dollars they're about to lose in this book, then try to convince themselves that a few thousand 25-34 year-olds are more valuable than tens of thousands of 45+ listeners.
I'm betting they'll do B.
