How to ignite the nextgen to work in radio?

Sharing an article in Radio Ink about how to attract 20-30 somethings to work in the radio business...especially in the age of do it yourself podcasts, video production, YouTube, blogs etc.

I work with a lot of millennials and they are extremely creative and many love working in film, radio and media.

There are arts organizations like Artscape, Urban Arts Toronto, The Rogers Hot Docs Cinema, The Tiff Bell Lightbox and all of the Universities/Colleges have a radio station outlet.

Even a local "Shared Workspace" on the Danforth allows you to record your own Podcast on site...

This article asks, how the leaders in radio can keep those 20-30 somethings coming into the industry.

Here is the link to the article, but what do you recommend the industry do to attract this age group to work in the business?
