Political Correctness Hits The Super Bowl Broadcast

I often take a gander at the CBSC website just to see how nitpicky some viewers are over seemingly trivial items. Stations have to respond and in all too many cases, the reply doesn't satisfy the complainants, who then escalate the beef to the broadcasters-run referee, usually wasting a lot of people's time.

Turns out it's no different in the U.S., where the FCC has been besieged by politically correct gripes about the Super Bowl halftime show. Many are saying chest a minute - er- just a minute - about the game's entertainment featuring Maroon 5's Adam Levine.

While I realize these people are just trying to make a point, I feel sorry for the bureaucrats who have to respond to it all.
