Star Ray TV

Does anyone else on here ever tune in to Star Ray TV?

It is a pirate OTA HDTV station broadcasting from Main and Gerrard area which can be picked up pretty much only in the central-east downtown Toronto area.

The website has a very dated look, as does the channel and its programming. It looks like a one man operation and most of the time it runs garish animated test patterns accompanied by cheeseball life-advice type axioms. But sometimes particularly in the evening it actually runs something interesting and I have watched it a few times. Like amateur home-movie style documentaries about streetcars or Regent Park from the 70s or 80s.

I am not sure how the guy has managed to keep it going and dodge the CRTC but it has been running for years. I imagine he would be an interesting and likely eccentric person to meet.
