Have to admit I've never heard of Jodi Taylor, but she sounds like a wonderful person. According to an article from Friday's London Free Press, she passed away quite suddenly last weekend.  

"Veteran London radio broadcaster Jodi Orr (known on air as Jodi Taylor with CJBK and BX93) died suddenly on Aug. 18 just before her shift for the radio stations she loved, in the industry she revered. She would have been 53 this fall."

She also worked for Rogers' Bob-FM (CHST) for several years. 

The article doesn't give a cause. Condolences to her friends and family.
