the weather voice on CBC Radio One weeknights in the Toronto area

After the news at 8, 9, and 10 pm there is a distinctively husky-voiced man who reads the weather, and has done so for what seems like forever for me.

I've always wondered who he his. He crops up Sunday nights sometimes, but week-in, week-out, he always seems to be there. I find him... comforting and familiar?

Or, depending on the poster's gender, grindr

That would be orientation but being more of the target market for grindr there is a female voice that does later forecasts with some unusual enunciation that I find alluring.  Maybe I have a voice fetish.

Just wondering who it was. I'd swear I've been hearing him since the mid 90s, I think.

It's a distinctive voice, hence me noticing him.

I can assure you I have no prurient interests in any of the announcers at CBC. At least not since they let Barbara Budd go.
