Have revived the radio stream on the web site and am trying something new by mixing new and old. Will feature a free form rock mix along with interesting content from various old air checks culled from CHUM FM, CFNY, WBCN, WMMR etc. Yes it's crappy MP3 quality but anything better is expensive. The stream does not sound too bad when hooked up to a decent stereo system.
Current stream includes the famous El Ma combo ad by David Pritchard on CHUM FM, bits from Pete and Geets, two deranged ad breaks on WZIR, Charles L turning the red stereo light on and off on WBCN FM in 1971 plus a whole lot more.

I am playing tapes on the radio stream. Right now it's Dennis Erectus ( one of the earliest shock jocks) on KOME FM from 1979. Have not uploaded this segment to the site. In stereo.
Later tonight I may play a part of the WKNR AM countdown from 1968 that has also not been loaded to the site yet. That one is in mono and recorded on slow speed reel to reel and the 50 year old recording does not have the best fidelity.
The tapes I am playing are not MP3's and I hope the quality reflects that despite issues such as age. I don't know what the exact specifications are for the live stream. Feel free to send me a PM to let me know what the stream sounds like if you happen to be listening over the next few hours tonight.
