Sports radio will rescue listeners this holiday Monday

It's a good bet Toronto sports radio, Sportsnet 590 the Fan, and TSN 1050, will once again put the listener first this Monday by giving their audience live radio, instead of repackaged clips from previous shows the way regular talk radio does every time a holiday falls on a weekday.

Sure 680 will be current, but 640 and 1010 will probably only have disjointed bits and bites. Frequently both stations fail to provide a "you're listening to the best of the " segue, and simply go straight to the ad break.

Radio listeners may discover/rediscover the joys of sports radio this Monday, if they start switching around the dial to find something live.

How many of us here on the big yellow board check out the reroll content on talk radio,(more Stafford! more Moore!) or is it 80's tunes from Boom and sports radio all the way this overly hot and humid long weekend. ;)

Re: Sports radio will rescue listeners this holiday Monday

Unless 1050 wants to speak highly of Argos, they really should simulcast 1050 and 1150 and talk about some other sport(s). (Just for the Holiday Monday)
