For those who were around in the early days of TV, there was once only one station to watch if you lived in Western New York or Southern Ontario -  an entity then known as WBEN, the television outlet of the Buffalo Evening News. Several owners and a call letter change later, the station is now celebrating 70 years on the air and have marked the event with a series of special videos on its website.

From "The Santa Claus Show," "Buffalo" Bob Smith (and Howdy Doody) and anchors like Chuck Healey and Van Miller, there's quite a lot to see  - and remember.
