The Nations Most Beloved T.V. Network

At least half-a-dozen alumni from the old SCTV show will gather in Toronto next month for a reunion.

None other than Martin Scorsese & Jimmy Kimmel will lend their talents to help putting things together.

Taping takes place at the Elgin Theatre in May & is to include the likes of Dave Thomas - Joe Flaherty & Martin Short. Eugene Levy & Catharine O'Hara as well.

Can't confirm an air date just yet.

SCTV ran from 1976 to 1984.

Sounds like a blast  - interesting to see if they can recapture any of the old magic

"I'll kick your ass down Yonge Street"... CFTR's Robert Holiday circa 1979...

It's for a future Netflix special. Date when it drops is TBA.

I'm not paying for Netflix. I can't wait to see it on YouTube when it becomes available.

Except the SOB, Jerry Todd!  He won't be there.  He won't participate in anything!

It seems as though Rick Moranis has retired from the business.  He was hilarious as Gerry Todd with the fake broadcaster's voice and the goatee.  He used his experience as a CHUM-FM DJ to put a great satirical spin on the character.
