I actually don't mind when Stafford's phones go down.  He's so damn good, I'd rather listen to him ad-lib than to most of his callers, who usually just want to pat themselves on the back.

Well, he does have his teeny-doper Bored Ops to chime in and keep him company. My question: could he actually do the 3-hour show without phones and the incessant interrupting of his wanna-be flunkies?

Easily, in my opinion.  I'd listen.  The contributions from his producer and tech guy are not too intrusive, and sometimes amusing.

Doubtful. He's gotten to rely on those guppies and rendered lazy. In the past, he could carry the show solo. Now, he phones in the same old same old day after day. Pity. He should have retired during his peak. Now, he really is ready for that old folks home.

Still nursing that raging hate-on for the best host in Canadian radio, cGrant?  Or are you just pissed that Stafford still won't let you hold his jockstrap?
