Should radio station have played ads during hockey memorial...

Both Sportsnet 590 the Fan and TSN 1050 radio stations aired Toronto Maple Leafs hockey legend Johnny Bower's memorial this afternoon. TSN aired it in its entirety, without any ads. The Fan had ads inserted.

A practical move on Sportsnet's part? Maybe it was impossible to air the memorial without ads? Maybe TSN had an ad break or two during the service that I missed when I momentarily switched to see what other stations were running with?

It was a beautiful, unforgettable memorial service for Johnny Bower, radio listeners got to hear Mr. Bower's grandson, Big M, and all the others who paid tribute, with everyone in the entire place cheering 'Go Leafs Go' for Johnny Bower, and that's all that really matters at the end of the day.
