Newstalk 1010 is airing a spot for Bernie Safe *#$!?! or something, where a smoke detector sounds off, and it's so annoying and alarming (half-assed pun intended.)

Not sure if it's the levels, or if some of the piercing effect could have been adjusted in the production so the ad would startle you, just not STARTLE YOU. I've heard it multiple times, and can never get past the unhappy thrill of the 'shrill shill.'
