Radio Legend Talks CHUM, CKFH, CFTR & How He Found Those Jocks

This is from May 2016, but it’s a timeless interview with one of the greats behind CHUM, J. Robert Wood. In the piece he explains how he got the job thanks to a competitor and how that helped shaped the method he used to add on air staff, how they usurped the CKFH Drake threat and why all those unsung board ops were key to the station’s success.

As a bonus, the interview was conducted by the great Warren Cosford, who also played a big role in CHUM’s legendary status.

OK.

Good interview.  Nice to see him share the credit.  'Cause it surely needs to be shared.  The recognition for J. Bob is deserved.  Nice job Warren.
